The two defendants were sentenced to 7 years and 4 months of imprisonment Orlando and 6 years and 4 months Nuvoletta for the extortion felony aggravated against a building entrepreneur from Giugliano in Campania.

The two defendants had already been convicted in the first instance by the Gip of Naples in a coordinated investigation by the Naapolitan DDA.

During the trial, the victim entrepreneur of extortion was in turn investigated for alleged ties with the Mallardo clan of Giugliano in Campania, subject to another ongoing judicial process.

The Court of Appeal confirmed the convictions of the first degree, considering the evidenced accusations and the penalty adapted to the gravity of the crimes committed.
